Let’s move into the painting process. It begins here from the drawing to the beginning stages of the painting process. This stage determines your trajectory for the beginning is the most mysterious of all with all the hope, promise, and adventure; it becomes very exciting.
For some students, the beginning could be the most difficult part. Having expectations can be skewed. So you need to know what you’re getting yourself into.
To do this you need to have an extensive amount of frontloading with sketches, studies, and drawings to which you have been introduced already. there you’ll have your foundation so fully established that you can launch forward.
For some, the middle stage of painting is a dreaded middle passage. Here you use instruments to survive, will address that as we move along.
High expectations starting out is an issue, while at the finishing closing problems are often the result of a lack of a clear artist statement. An artist statement is a combination of one’s vision and mission, where you come from, and where you are going.
The painting process is like archery, need many arrows to hit the target. Paint often.
Mature artists paint often, for each work is a link in a chain, while beginners try to pack it all into one piece.
Be in the creative process
